Really comfortable with excellent facilities for a party of 8. Plenty of loos and showers/baths so no queues after busy days out. Plenty to do in the area and good food available within 5-10 miles.

I have never had a holiday in such a beautiful house - the fixtures and fittings were of top quality and yet it was so comfortable - it was a disappointiment to come home! The location was lovely and quiet but near to fantastic places like Holy Island and Alnwick Castle. The biggest attraction was definitely all the bathrooms - essential for 8 people!

Beautiful accommodation with lovely fixtures & fittings. A real treat.

The village of Norham has very friendly locals and a great butchers shop which should be recommended to everyone - especially the bacon sandwiches they serve up in a morning! The Pub on Castle Street (Victoria Arms?) is renowned for its Sunday lunches apparently - but as they were fully booked when we got to the house we couldn't sample. Would recommend booking ahead of holiday if you wish to sample yourself!

Perfect quiet village location, lovely house, terrific holiday - thank you. We walked the legs off our labrador, and the garden was perfect for us all to relax in afterwards.
